frames layout

using what i have, is something always in the back of my mind. i had these photos printed today while at the grocery store and later while i was sitting down to scrap saw these ugly, plain square diecuts on my desk. i thought of these photos and was inspired to work...so i painted them of course! i am using once again my TH crackle paint! i love it. it does take forever to dry so i used my heat gun right on my layout but had to be careful not to melt my photos.
the vinyl heart and stickpin are American Craft that i got at Tuesday Morning (store) for 69 cents a pack! they totally rock!

i wanted to match my red vinyl stickpins so i painted my chipboard thickers letters with AC paint!

these stickers are the MM fall line! the colors totoally match my color scheme!
that's all for this weekend! happy monday tomorrow....

New puppy layout

this is one of those layouts that i wanted to use all of the photos i had for it but didn't love it enough to make it a two page spread. this way i got to include all of my photos, have journaling and show some patterned paper/emblishments! i am happy with the turnout!

Game Time layout

this is basic gray paper. mmm love me some basic gray. as well as crate paper stickers, mm fall sticker words, october afternoon text boxes, and TH crackle paint!

i love kraft paper

i love the lable maker!
not done...but wanted to share this anyway! this is the new jillibean printed kraft paper line!

By Plane layout

i love love love this title! i wanted to use the cloud photos that i took and printed from this trip but didnt want to croud the pages so i used the photos with my Cricket and cut out my title with them. bc i wanted to make sure they stayed attached i sewed a line across each letter.
i have had a baggie of travel cutouts that i pulled to make sure i used and i am so glad that i used the airplaine and luaggage from my stash. like nicole always says, "use what you have". haha

i wasn't sure if i could sew through this chipboard (MR) man but i did! it looks great! the little stiching through each little emblishment really tied each piece together.

the grid paper is october afternoon! i am so glad that i bought more than one piece of it! which i only do now when it is a pattern that i know i can use more than once, one that i know i wont get sick of and that is more of a classic look.
i have been doing a ton of travel layouts and trying not to make any of them alike. which is sometime difficult todo when they have the same 'theme'. good thing there are so many different travel lines out this year!

New Tim Holtz Crackle Paint

the new TH crackle paint: takes a while to dry and the trick is to get it thick enough to be able to make it crackle. that i my review in the first time i have used it. for this layout i didn't want the paint too thick but it did show a little crackle for texture. i cannot wait to coat it on my next project and really see it work!

4th of july sticker layout

shinny stickers!! yes i finally used them. i have probably had these for several years without use. haha! i did it!
i have thousands and thousands of stickers and never seem to use them so this is a sticker layout. the firecracker stickers were perfect and i cannot believe i remembered them before i actually completed this. bc we all know thats happened to them. you get something done and you find something that is either perfect for what you just created or you find something you bought specifically for that perticular layout. haha.

i have a huge stack of imcomplete layouts, that either need journaling or a fnishing touch. here is one that i finally journaled. yay now it can go in the scrapbook

works in progress: Birthday Book

this pop-up card from my brother was so fun but i was worried how it would be able to funtion inside this book. it think i worked out well how i put the book together and i love it
letters and every little piece from my many bd celebrations were included, which is really fun to have it all in one place!

the cards were so cute and i am so happy i found a way to include them by making this book!

i included envelopes from my cards and left some cards inside and made some pockets to store misc.

my opening page..

this is one of my current "projects", my Birthday book. i got all the page in it with some missing photos and an unfinished cover i am on my way to getting close to completion. i am unsure how to finish to cover. i wanted to keep it somewhat raw but i did try to spray some glimmer mist on it and it took a while for it to dry so i did such big runny sprays.
the papers and misc emblishments are just an assortment of some of my fav colors and scraps. i will hopefully find to rest of my photos and finish it soon. just wanted to share my 'as of now' work.

HELP me complete this layout

i want to keep this layout kinda simple but need some help deciding what else to include that wont distract from the beauty of the photo. i was thinking of using my sewing machine create 'rays' on the left side and possiblely do something with the title. i needs a few suggestions to keep it classic and get my juices flowing to complete this layout...please help.
thanks

first 2 layouts tonight

i was at home a couple wks ago and was looking around then realized that i was surrounded by paper products. i knew i wanted to create this layout using scrap paper, all my leftover bits that i cannot seem to part with.
his is all october afternoon paperthat i can not get enough of...i used all the fronts and backs of these sheet.

the word 'BIG' was cut out on my Cricket machine, the orange letters are the new fabric thickers, and the small silver glitter are making memories.
i was so excited to get these fun photos scrapped!

last night

last night we bought yummy strawberry icecream and i had the great idea to cut bananas and crush girlscout cookies for a delishious treat! i also remembered my favorite icecream glasses that we haven't gotten out since we moved! they are so fun and retro!
now doesn't that look wonderful and not too unhealthy!

mr reagan waiting for his dog cookies baking in the oven! he remembered them from last year when i made several dozen. they lasted forever but we haven't had them for at least 6 months. reagan and rory were so excited when they got to finish the dough (dont worry no eggs) when i couldn't cut any more treats from the mix.

i made these last year for the first time and gave them to our puppy friends for Christmas. they are much healthier than regular dog treats and our dogs will do anything to get one!

Girls just wanna have fun

making memories felt flower clip with a scrap of basic gray ribbon secured with a tim holtz mini staple
both of these emblishments are embossed; the camera is a senic route stamp and the 'girl' is a MR chipboard cutout embossed with the new Zing glitter powder.

stamp, sprinkle, heat, cutout and adhere!

these are photos that were just taken the other day and i could not wait to get them down on paper! something about recient photos that inspire me!

products: the paper line is the new melody ross line at archiver's!! it was cute in the store and even cuter now that i have the page scrapped! the green houndstooth and pink pokadot papers are both october afternoon! the glitter letter stickers is by making memories!

squirrel layout

Products:
Basic Gray origins paper line- sweet pea, BG mellow letters, popdots, crate paper squirrel diecut, chalk ink, GCD melody ross paper-bue calico and i also sew'd on my layout after i posted these pics. sorry it is not shown
these pics just make me laugh. rory was so intense at watching the squirrels run around in my grandma's backyard.

focus layout

this 'k' stamp is by penny black (kate text) and i use this ABC all the time! i stamped it on some grograin ribbon then adhered it with a staple.
i am super stoked about using this pressed flower sticker. it is so cute! i got it from archiver's if you decide that you yourself need this as well. also with a making memories vintage tag and tim holtz mini paperclip!

the 'focus' title was used with plastic game piece tiles. i have no idea where i got these or even a clue what brand they are. i am usually so good at remember when and when i got my scrap supplise bc i love love love buying supplies and consider it a hobby in itself!
also used bo bunny melody icandy brads in the left corner of my photos. i liked these bc they look rustic and am pretty picky when it comes to brads. i am just starting to buy them.

oh the backround paper is a real random brand called bella blvd-camped out paper. at the little boutique they only had this one paper and no others out of the line. but i cannot resist houndstooth print! no matter if it is clothing or paper products! one of my many many weaknesses! : )
