Highlights

Here are some of my favorite photos from the past couple of days.

from baking homemade dog cookies, gingerbread house, unwrapping gifts, making carmel apples, around home with the pups, loading the car with gifts, Christmas doughnuts in the car ....

Favorite

My very favorite Christmas decor is the kind where all the trees and animals have skinny legs and wear high heals! It is so stinking cute!

Tinsel

I picked up some skinny tinsel for scrapping at Super Target! I only wish they had silver. This is a good deal for the entire roll I paid $3 bc earlier in the week at the scrapbook store I paid $1.99 for a yard of the same thing. Too bad I didn't know sooner about the tinsel in gift wrap section.

lets get creative

Reagan is so tall that he starting laying down to eat out of his bowl. I didn't want to buy a new bowl set that had a holder, plus they are ugly. So i found something in my kitchen that would hold up the bowl... heres what I came up with. It works perfectly

Hoosier Pass layouts

Here are two more layouts from this past wk... for the Sept Colorado book since I am determined to get this done sometime soon

Love both of these pages...i visioned the layout of the 'down' page when i was taking the photos

paper:basic gray paper, my minds eye
letters and arrows: american craft
6x12 American Craft sleeve
emb: paper embs by My minds eye on both pages

'the greeting' layout

paper: fancy pants, my minds eye
ribbon: basic gray
journal stickers: october afternoon
misc mini rubber ABC stamps
brad: s.e.i.
tim holtz: mini staples

this is really just a simple layout that i put together in a matter of minutes. i lay the photos on the page and see what i have to work with.

this layout will go inside my 'sept colorado book' 12x12 of course since there are so many photos i wouldn't be able to make it any smaller and get all the photos that i liked..which is pretty much every photo that i took on the trip.

Mail Call

today was a good mail day. got a few more Christmas cards from friends. super cute. as well as two packages from my parents. matt has been studying so hard for his finals my mom sent him elk jerky from the wagon in Breckenridge Colorado! which he was so excited to take to his study group tonight. ....i got a funny cupcake oven mit! she said i might need it since we have been cooking more at home and not doing as much 'carry-out' food. love it!

thanks mom, you made our day!

Surg book pages

Finally complete, as of this wkend! I am done with my surgery mini book. It turned out so cute, even though the photos of me are not my best look.

Sunday Nite

tonight i made homemade 'garlic beer cheese bread', uploaded photos from the wkend, hung out with Bailey and checked my email. now i am waiting for my crust to rise on my homemade pizza. then maybe a little more crafting or making homemade dog treats, not really sure...
