Big Day

Today was a big day. Big day for this week that is. My throat is still 'healing' so it is actually getting worse, I dont wanna get grose and go into detail. I will just say super tender to put it nice. My wonderful hubby brought me a small sonic ice cream/ slush purple drink and since that went well later brought me a starbucks carmel frap. That was a meal plan today. Starving.

We had two big visitors today. Mr UPS and Mr FedEx. My hubby ordered stuff from amazon and also our vaccume came! yay!

I also have been trying to work up some energy to craft. Between Mon, Tues and today I have done a handful of layouts, a mini album of my little brother and put the finishing touches on an only Colorado trip (books 1 and 2). The Co trip books are neat bc I recovered the 'raw' ablums with one of my very favorite lines.

Here are the photos from today...

good company

my puppies have been keeping me good company while i lay in bed. rory has been laying in the round chair on the soft blanket for most of the morning and once she got down reagan thought it would also be a good idea to sit there. he climbed up. rory came back and looked at him then looked at me then...(this)

photos by mail

I have been in recovery mode for the past several days and finding things todo while lying in bed isn't always 'easy'. But one thing I have been looking forward to doing is uploading, editing and ordering my backlog of photos that I have been needing to get ordered since June. I got everything done besides our Mexico trip but that is another time. This order included all June, July, August (my BD pictures), September, Colorado trip pictures and all October photos up to time of order.

387 4x6 photos
49 4x6 collage photos
35 5x7 photos
12 5x7 collage photos
4 8x10 photos
1 8x10 collage photos

I cannot wait to recieve the photos! I love to sort and group the photos by event. then match papers I am going to use...oh I cannot wait!

i think i am going to make it

i think i am going to make it...

usually when i say that i see something i wanna replicate but not in this case. yesturday i had my tonsils out and today i am starving, swollen, and all the above...

i am most of all looking forward to having the rest of the week off as well the following. i am hoping to get lots of projects done and have quite the list.

luckily for me crafting doesn't take too much energy for me to sit and work.

right now i am sitting in my chair with my my necessities surrounding me.
* magizines
* notebook for all my notes and thoughts
* tv remote
* camera
* water bottle
* lapdesk with computer
* bell to get someones attention since i cannot talk loudly
* fav blanket
* just in case puke bag from the hospital

i think i am ready to sit in my chair for the remainder of the day. but to tell you the truth i slept here last night and probably wont leave from here for too long over the next week or so.

to let you know i chose the most attractive photo from the hosptial : )

this am's scrap

i finished this layout in the nick of time this am bc i just ran out of adhesive and will need to go to the store before anymore layouts today. i am so sad my adhesive stash is all gone but at the same time that must mean i am working on lots....

i love love love this new line by Crate Paper. it is so vingtage and i used some of the stickers from this collection as well bc the colors are so amazing, plus hard to match.

the pretty black rubon is reciently from the 'Michaels' dollar spot. it was a good rubon and went on easy. which we all know there are some that do not want to do what they are suppose to do. they have all kinds of neat stamps/ rubons/etc right now. (they have things like old glasses, typewrite, clock, key as well as this candle stick holder) the good new is they are still in stock..so hurry in to get some too.

one thing i did that i am proud of is using my stickles. i just traced a few of the flowers on the backround which then makes it look like an emblishment. so neat. it is true that if you wanna use a product all you have todo is have it out on your desk within view!
